Most of the leasing company's charges a fee to facilitate the lease transfer.
It is the seller's responsibility to mark the ad in transferring mode and pay LeaseTrader's transfer dept. the moment there is an initiation* of a transfer. Failure to notify and pay the transfer initiation fee, will result in a penalty fee of $100.00 for each buyer that goes through the process of having their credit verified in order to contact the seller (you), plus all expenses incurred by LeaseTrader resulted from and not limited to credit verification, and the continued marketing of your vehicle.
Seller Transaction Success Fee:*$149.95 (after $100 instant transfer rebate)
In addition to your advertising fee, LeaseTrader charges the seller (you) a $249.95 commission if a lease transfer initiation is consummated.
*Instant Transfer Rebate: $100.00
LeaseTrader offers the seller an instant Transfer Rebate of $100.00 (One Hundred Dollar) to be applied automatically once the payment of the transfer initiation fee is made at the initiation of the lease transfer process.
Note: Failure to pay the transfer initiation fee at the initiation of the lease transfer process will result in forfeiting any and all discounts and rebates offered by LeaseTrader.
* The definition of an initiation of a lease transfer process is when any of the following occur: the seller requests to start the transfer process, the buyer requests to start the transfer process, the seller and buyer both agree on moving forward with the transfer process, the seller supplies the buyer with the leasing company's credit application, the leasing company provides de buyer with the credit application, the buyer completes and submits the credit application to the leasing company or whichever occurs first.
